CJ’s Lasik Surgery [SPONSORED CONTENT]
I had my Lasik Surgery at Francis Eye & Laser Center in early November.
So this is my story. I'm extremely near-sighted. I've worn glasses since I was 7, and they were always very thick. Even with the special, ultra-thin "high index" lenses, they were still thick! Not anymore though. I had Lasik at Francis Eye & Laser Center in the Utica Business Park. Before the surgery date, I had a couple appointments - the initial consultation to determine if I was a good candidate, and exactly what outcome I could expect. And then a follow up appointment to discuss the prescriptions that I would need for before and after the surgery.
Finally it was surgery day. The staff at Francis Eye & Laser really makes you feel comfortable and at ease in the lobby. They even put out snacks and beverages to munch on while you wait. Once I was in the room, it was so easy and painless. There's the initial incision, which barely feels like anything more than a little pressure. Then the actual laser. I've heard the horror stories - you have to stare directly at the light and can't move or blink. It was easier than you think though. I didn't think they had even started, and the next thing I knew, Dr. Francis said it was all done! Here are some pictures from the day of the surgery. I'll be sharing more about the surgery, so check back soon!
