Covering Hurricane Sandy has proven to be quite a feat. It's difficult to keep up with all the information pouring into the newsrooms, but who gets to experience the brunt of it all? Reporters. Poor, poor reporters.

In the past day or two, most broadcasts featured these brave souls right in the thick of flooding, high winds and torrential downpours. It can be a little tough to get up-to-date information on location in such treacherous conditions, so sometimes reporters need to find creative ways to gather the facts. Cue: zombie pirate man.

Leave it to this FOX News affiliate down in Alexandria, Virginia to find a zombie pirate to give valuable insight into Frankstorm. He's been living in the town for about 650 years, so the dude's seen some pretty nasty storms. But according to him, this is one of the worst in history.

We also learned zombie pirate is going to be a Barbie for Halloween. So he's got that going for him, which is nice.
