As a younger male, I know my driving skills can’t be matched to the some of our older gents on staff. Insurance companies know it, young males are the least skilled and most dangerous on the road. But if you ask young guys, they've got a different opinion.

A new British found that 62 percent of young male drivers think they are more skillful than the average driver. Of course women are always smarter than men, only 32 percent of young women said the same.

What these young gents think (and what the stats say) are very different. Males between 17 and 29 are more than twice as likely to be killed or seriously injured as young female drivers. Make sure you talk to your son about safe driving.
