A California couple tied the knot via video conferencing. Isn’t technology great! Why would one use this for a wedding?

The bride was 27 year old Helen Oh. She was in church while the groom, Samuel Kim, was in the hospital with a lung infection. They exchanged vows according to Reuters over Skype, with Oh's father officiating.

"I completely expected to postpone our wedding, said Kim, "but my fiancee, she really insisted."

The couple will honeymoon in Paris and Prague, after Kim recovers.
