According to a new survey, there is a growing problem with "workplace incivility." That's right, workplaces are rude and getting ruder. Shocker.

Researchers from Indiana Wesleyan University found that the economic downturn has created a work environment where fewer workers are putting in longer hours and are under more stress. So, those workers "lucky" enough to have a job are burning the candle at both ends, and are more likely than ever to lash out at co-workers.
A full 86 percent of workers surveyed reported incivility, such as rude behavior, insults and just plain bad manners. So, when companies cut back and lay off workers, productivity doesn't suffer, but good manners end up disappearing.
