We're all pretty upset that we got nailed with snow in central New York on Tuesday. Yeh, I know, it snowed on Mother's Day one year. So, how did this happen? Why did we get snow in mid April? Here's the answer.

I take the blame for the snow, and here's why. On Monday, I had my snow tires taken off my car, then on Tuesday, of course it snowed. Check the evidence for yourself in the photo below - the non-snow tire that I had put on my car on Monday. Had I left the snow tires on until May, it probably would have been sunny and 70 the rest of the month.

So, here's the scientific formula that determines snow in mid spring:

April + Car - Snow Tires = Snow

Why, why did I take the snow tires off?

Just so that I don't get all the blame, Kevin Quinn, our nighttime announcer told me that he took his snow tires off on Monday too. So, I'm happy to share the blame. Next year, I'm leaving the snow tires on until the 4th of July!
