“White Room” By Cream- Song Facts And History

Ever wonder if great guitarist shared ideas? Of course they did! Eric Clapton took a lesson out of Jimi Hendrix's book with the song "White Room". Clapton used a Wah-Wah pedal on his guitar, which he got the idea from Hendrix. Here's a couple other song facts about "White Room" from Cream. 

"White Room" was off the album "Wheels Of Fire" from 1968. At first the album was given a terrible review by Rolling Stone magazine.

They claim that "White Room" has "The exact same lines for guitar, bass and drums" as "Tales Of Brave Ulysses."

So what's the song about? It's about depression and hopelessness. The lyrics were written by a beat poet named Pete Brown, who was a friend of Cream bass player Jack Bruce.
