Remember how we got to see 17 minutes of Marvel's 'Guardians of the Galaxy,' out in theaters next week? While we could only show you a few snippets of what we saw at the time, a new five-minute clip from the film debuted online that reveals more from that IMAX sneak peek.

We've already detailed much of what was screened at the 'Guardians of the Galaxy: An IMAX 3D First Look,' but now you too can enter The Kyln, the high-security prison in which the Guardians are confined after being picked up by the Nova Corps (think S.H.I.E.L.D. but in outer space). And, yup, that's John C. Reilly all suited up to impose some intergalactic justice.

Marvel's new team of superheroes didn't start out heroic, and what's great about this 'Guardians of the Galaxy' extended clip is that it showcases these characters' personalities and how they all came together. Chris Pratt is as hilarious as he comes across as Star-Lord/Peter Quill, Zoe Saldana's Gamora has some secrets up her sleeve (and she's got ties to Thanos!), Dave Bautista's Drax is obsessed with vengeance, while Bradley Cooper's Rocket and Vin Diesel's Groot are the heart and soul of the group.

'Guardians of the Galaxy' hits theaters on August 1.
