Video Of Gym Teacher Stealing From Lockers- Justine Betti Caught Her Gym Teacher Stealing

News10

A California high school teacher has been suspended after a student secretly videotaped her stealing from backpacks. One Sophomore named Justine Betti was the brave student who captured her teacher stealing on camera. We have that video of the gym teacher stealing here, and the full story from 10News as well.

Students at Linden High School in California for the past few months have noticed items missing from their belongings when they returned to the locker room after gym class. It’s the age old problem, people stealing from gym lockers. Who was stealing from these girls? Justine Betti decided to hide inside a locker to see if she could catch the thief in the act. What she caught was shocking. The thief was a teacher!

“After all the kids left she stayed in there and went through people’s backpacks,” Betti told 10News. “I saw her take money and then I told people and nobody believed me.”

Justine recorded video from her phone, and on a camera that she had propped up in another student’s locker to catch the thief  She was shocked to find one of the most popular teachers in the school.

“I didn’t want to believe that she would do something like that because she was so nice, but then she did it,” Betti said. The sophomore took the footage to the school principal and the teacher in question has been placed on administrative leave. The Linden School District and the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Department are investigating and no charges have been filed at this time.

It’s a sick world when a teacher who makes a decent salary will steal 10 bucks from a student.
