The unofficial mascot of Utica hockey for years, Earl Kellogg from Frankfort, known to many simply as the 'Chickenman' due to his chicken suit and rubber chicken that he keeps the refs in line with. At 68 years old he has emblazoned himself as a game fixture at the Utica Aud since the Mohawk Valley Comets were slapping the puck around in the 70's. Now that AHL hockey has been resurrected and the Comets are alive again, wouldn't it be fitting to have the Chickenman yelling from the Chicken Coop too?

Due to circumstances out of his control, Earl may not be able to attend like he used to, so if you'd like to see him stick around for the season, there's an indiegogo campaign set up to buy up his seats for him for the year. Wanna pitch in?
