UFO Sighting Reported Over Fairport NY On July 5th 2014

Central New York has been experiencing a handful of UFO sightings in the month of July. It looks like these reports are continuing into July. Just west of Syracuse in Fairport, this recent sighting happened on July 5th. 

The report was filed with Mufon:

I am writing this on behalf of my daughter... My daughter and her boyfriend were taking pictures of the oncoming storm clouds. They noticed a flat disc shaped object that was traveling to the west. It was illuminated by the setting sun. It was white appearing and looked like two contact lenses. they were not afraid but curious as to what it was. It went into a cloud but did not reappear."

A lot of the recent reports are suggest possible drones. What would you suggest this contact lense object was?
