Titanfall will be growing one more time, as a new map pack has been revealed for Respawn Entertainment's multiplayer shooter by EA during its Gamescom 2014 press conference.

The pack, called IMC Rising, will feature three new maps: Backwater, Zone 18, and Sandtrap. The pack will cost $10 standalone, but it is also included in the $25 Season Pass released with the game back in March. Xbox One and PC Titanfall players will get first crack at the new locales, with the Xbox 360 faithful having to wait just a bit longer. The announcement comes on the heels of the second Titanfall map pack, Frontier's Edge, releasing on July 31.

New maps always renew interest in multiplayer games, but we wonder how many people are still summoning Titans this far after launch. A slew of good games have come out since then, even with the slow summer months, and a lot of attention has turned to the near future with a tidal wave of new releases fast approaching. Releasing this map pack in the middle of that deluge might not be the most efficient strategy, so we're hoping that IMC Rising can hit before the busy holiday season.

Titanfall: IMC Rising will launch this fall for Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.
