Failure is not an option for Thor and his brother Loki in the latest international TV spot for 'Thor 2.' As the army of Dark Elves descends upon Asgard and London, these two must team up and prevent the universe from falling into chaos, but not before the god of thunder dishes out some hammer of justice.

In anticipation of 'Thor 2''s domestic release on November 8 and UK release on October 30, a new international spot has hit the airwaves. Its message? "Hitting doesn't solve everything." Yeah right, Loki. Tell that to the beastie Thor shattered into a million pieces. In addition to some new quips, small bits of footage have made their way into the spot, featuring the devastating and smoky effects of the Dark Elf ship.

In 'Thor 2,' titled 'The Dark World,' the soon-to-be Asgardian king (Chris Hemsworth) faces a new threat in the form of Malekith (Christopher Eccleston), an evil Dark Elf hellbent on plunging the universe into darkness. To defeat this enemy, Thor will reunite with Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), the Lady Sif (Jaimie Alexander) and the Warriors Three, and his trickster brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston).
