This Week In 1978 The Police Film A Commercial For Wrigley’s Gum

The Police never made an impact on the music world until the release of Roxanne in 1979. Before any one really knew who they were they recorded a commercial for Wrigley's Gum.

The group was formed in England consisting of Gordon " Sting " Sumner, Andy Summers and Stewart Copeland. Sting would later move on to a successful solo career. The Police were inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 2003. You may remember this one from 1978.
