With hits like China Grove, Black Water, and What A Fool Believes the Doobie Brothers were on the Top 40 Charts from 1972 until 1989. They went through three lead singers starting with Tom Johnston, then Michael Mc Donald and Patrick Simmons. Even with all the changes the group managed to stay successful becoming one of the biggest Rock and Roll bands of the seventies. Check them out with Dick Bartley on Saturday night at 7 on 96.1 WODZ.
