According to Coedmagazine, Peligroso is produced from 100% Weber Blue agave. The agave is grown and harvested in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico where it’s first steamed in real brick ovens. Peligroso never uses autoclaves, instead they choose to distill their tequila in copper and stainless pots before aging in real oak whiskey barrels from where else? Tennessee!

Here's the report from Coedmagazine:

Proof: 84 (42% ABV)

Flavors: Agave, citrus, pepper

Taste: B+ (Very Good)

Mix-ability: A- (Excellent)

Buzz Factor: B+ (Very Good)

Price: $40 – $47 USD (750ml)

Overall: Coed gave Peligroso Silver 42 an A- (Highly Recommended). Bottled at 84 proof, 2% higher than most of its competitors, Peligroso Silver 42 gives you the bang for your buck you’d expect and it’s surprisingly smooth to boot!
