Team USA Finishes Fifth At World Wheelchair Curling Championships

We’ve been routing for our Team USA all week, and we are sad to report the following story. It was a disappointing ending for Team USA at the World Wheelchair Curling Championships in South Korea.

WIBX is reporting that the U-S dropped their last round to Canada, 7-5 and then lost in a tiebreaker to Slovakia, 7-5.

Team USA finished in 5th place overall with a record of 6-and-4 and missed out on the medal round. They did, however, qualify for the 2013 World Wheelchair Curling Championships that will take place next February in Russia.”

Team USA is made up of members of the Sitrin STARS program. We are very proud of our team and congratulate them on such a great success.
