“Glad you could make it tonight, we have six to eight million songs or so to play for you,” Rush bassist, vocalist and all-around prankster Geddy Lee jokingly said, addressing a sold out Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn. Thursday night (May 9). Although he may have been exaggerating a bit, it summoned loud cheers from the crowd at the mere thought of it. When you have 19 albums under your belt and many songs that clock in at six to seven minutes, the options are pretty wide open on any given night.

Rush were the runaway stars at the 2013 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony last night. And one of the show's highlights found the trio onstage with two members of the Foo Fighters, who performed the final minute of '2112''s classic 'Overture' with the newly inducted band. Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins even dressed in vintage Rush outfits -- Grohl as Alex Lifeson and Hawkins as Neil Peart -- complete with wigs.

To coincide with the release of deluxe editions of Rush's 1976 album '2112,' the band is releasing a 66-page iBook at iTunes. A comparison of descriptions of the iBook to the hardcover book that comes with the Super Deluxe edition indicates that they are essentially the same thing, although one gets a few band photos not published in the hardcover when they download this digital version, which does not come with the music.
