Back in June it was announced that the tribute concert held in 1992 in memory of Freddie Mercury would soon be released on DVD and Blu-ray in a remastered and expanded package. Now it has been revealed that ‘The Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert: The Definitive Edition’ will be available on Sept. 3, two days before what would have been the Queen frontman's 67th birthday.

In 1992 the surviving members of Queen invited friends and fellow musicians to pay tribute to the late Freddie Mercury.
