This elevator experiment was put on by Thinkmodo in promotion of Colin Farrell's new movie, Dead Man Down that opens tomorrow. I think it's more than effective marketing but not necessarily for the movie, try a lesson in ethics for us all instead.
Well, technically their plan worked, even though we think they are jerks. To promote a movie, ad agency Thinkmodo decided to stage a fake murder in an elevator and see how people react when the doors opened onto somebody being killed, so that they could film it and put it on the internet.
