There's nothing wrong or inherently bad about being a magpie artist. Quentin Tarantino famously steals from his favorite films (the good ones and the bad ones). The real test is if you do it well. Rob Zombie's latest 'The Lords of Salem' looks familiar, but is this good Zombie or bad Zombie? Now there's a new trailer and poster.
It will take a lot to top all five previous entries in the 'Fast and the Furious' franchise, but based on what we saw tonight, six could be the magic number.
If you're eager to have your senses shattered, your nerves fried and your very sanity hacked to pieces, then this will brighten your day: The 'Evil Dead' remake is being released earlier than expected! Find out when after the break!
'Interview with the Vampire' became an American movie classic, with Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise as the leading vampire gents, and now its director, Neil Jordan, is trying to introduce a new generation to his updated vision of the vampire. See what we mean in the all-new 'Byzantium' trailer after the break.
Often, when it comes to promoting a movie, actors are often as likely to fall back on hyperbole as a fanboy seeing the latest comic book movie. Still, it took us by surprise when 'A Good Day to Die Hard' co-star Yuliya Snigir describes making the movie as "better than sex" in the film's latest promotional featurette.
'Star Wars: Episode 7' will be directed by J.J. Abrams and now that we know this, we can turn our rumor-mongering attention to who is going to star in the film. We've previously heard that Chloe Moretz was pitched for the lead role, which might mean a female Jedi will lead the new trilogy. And one of the female actors who has worked closely with J.J. Abrams over the years - Keri Russell - says she would love to be a part of Abrams' new 'Star Wars' universe.
It's Super Bowl weekend, traditionally not a huge one at theaters, but this weekend sees three new films all going for different audiences. One is a supernatural-teen tale reminiscent of 'Twilight,' the next brings a longtime action star in for another round, and the last is crime story featuring three very fine actors.
'World of Warcraft' is coming to the big screen, and 'Moon and 'Source Code' director Duncan Jones has been tapped to helm the project for Legendary Pictures. Though most video game film adaptations are lousy, this could be the best one yet.
'Warm Bodies' is a supernatural teen love story with a brain. (Excuse me. . .BRAINS!) It is hardly a memorable film, and certainly a step back for director Jonathan Levine after the masterful '50/50,' but it's cute, and if you are a high schooler looking for a date flick or slightly older and chaperoning your niece you could do a hell of a lot worse.
Attention 'Star Wars' fans! Before you get your tent and sleeping bag and lawn chair and start waiting on line for 'Star Wars: Episode 7' you should probably know this: 'Star Wars: Episode 7' might not come out in 2015 as originally planned.
