February 26, 2013 On the heels of the worst-of-it's-kind balloon tragedy in Luxor, Egypt it naturally begs the question in many of our minds about the safety of hot air balloon flying. While our knee-jerk reaction is to breathe a sigh of relief that we're on the ground, the fact is you're actually more likely to get hit by a car walking to your next destination than you are to be an unlucky passenger on a doomed balloon flight.
