With so many places to take in the beauty of fall in New York State, there's no way it didn't make the list! Or did it?

There are plenty of places you can get a great view of fall foliage, but very few even come close to rival the sights in Lake Placid.

While Upstate New York definitely has the peaks of the Adirondacks to offer fall foliage, Central New York has a train to give you great views too.

Just as summer is winding down and the predictions for a warm fall and winter start rolling in the Fall Foliage report is calling for some amazing color this year, you could break out of your comfort zone and try a different way of looking at fall foliage in the Adirondacks.

Fall is right around the corner, which means the beauty of the fall foliage will be here soon. The best way to see all the changing leaves? Well, a trip on the Adirondack Scenic Railroad, of course.

Just because it's fall, it doesn't mean you need to start hibernating inside already. There's tons to do this time of year, and you can do it right here in Utica.
