The trade of running back Jerome Harrison from the Detroit Lions to the Philadelphia Eagles for running back Ronnie Brown was nullified after Harrison reportedly failed a physical earlier this week. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Thursday that Harrison failed the physical because doctors found a brain tumor during the examination required to authorize the trade.

While riding his bicycle on Sunday night in Oregon, former Detroit Lions quarterback Joey Harrington was struck by an SUV. He sustained a broken collar bone, a punctured lung, and a cut to his head in the collision, according to reports. Harrington remains hospitalized but is expected to make a full recovery, and could be released Tuesday.
