Strange News – Meanwhile…In Seattle

flickr.com jmd41280

It would seem that in Seattle, the loss of one’s Dr. Pepper is considered a serious injury. Reading from a recent police dispatch blog– a man was punched in the eye during a robbery in the University District and the robber took a $20 bill and the victim’s six-pack of Dr. Pepper. The report goes on to state that while police did detain two possible suspects, because the victim couldn’t identify them as the men who assaulted him, both suspects were released. The report then states, and we quote: “The victim declined medical treatment did not sustain serious injuries, other than the loss of his Dr. Pepper.”
