A Florida woman tried an interesting excuse after a cop busted her for driving upwards of 100 miles per hour in a 30-mile-an-hour zone last week: Jesus made her do it.  According to news reports, Melissa Miller was speeding through the Fort Pierce neighborhood with her horn blaring. When asked why by the deputy who stopped her, the 41-year-old reportedly said of her speed, "I was letting the Lord's spirit guide me," and the horn blowing was due to, "the Lord telling me to do it." God couldn't save her from charges of reckless driving and speeding and violating her probation on a charge of leaving the scene of an accident. Miller was placed behind bars at Port St. Lucie County Jail pending $375 bail.
