Strange News – Bank Robber Foiled By Teller’s Break

In Chagrin Falls , Ohio , it was some serious bad time for a would-be bank robber who was hoping to hold up the Huntington Bank main branch. There, a man wearing a nylon stocking mask and a Browns ball cap approached a bank teller window and demanded cash. Unfortunately for him the teller had just gone to the restroom on a break, had locked her cash drawer and taken the key with her. A customer rep desperately tried to convince the robber who at first thought she was just stalling. Ultimately he had no choice but to leave empty handed -- on foot by the way -- no getaway car. He also displayed no gun or other weapon. Police are searching for the suspect.
