Mort Bank, of Bismarck, North Dakota used to own McDonald's restaurants back in the 90s and just happened to save a gallon container of "McJordan" barbecue sauce that was a promotional item sold in limited markets for a short time in the 1990s, after Michael Jordan led the Chicago Bulls to six NBA championships. Bank said he always thought it would be worth something some day. He was right. He just sold it for $9,995 to a collector who asked not to be identified. Bank did confirm that the buyer was not Jordon himself and added, "I'm sure he's a Bulls or Michael Jordan fan, and hopefully he's not going to put it on his ribs or his burger. But it's up to him; he can do whatever he wants with it."
