Stephen Baldwin Arrested On Tax Charges

Stephen Baldwin, the other Baldwin, was arrested in New York today on charges that he's "repeatedly" failed to file tax returns. I'm guessing it was an accident. No one accidently forgets to file with Uncle Sam.

According to TMZ, Baldwin skipped the tax process in 2008, 2009 and 2010, and figures to owe about $350,000 to the state of New York.

The D.A. lashed out at the conservative actor, saying, "We cannot afford to allow wealthy residents to break the law by cheating on their taxes. The defendant's repetitive failure to file returns and pay taxes contributes to the sweeping cutbacks and closures in local government and in our schools."

He added, “The defendant’s repetitive failure to file returns and pay taxes over a period of several years contributes to the sweeping cutbacks and closures in local government and in our schools.”

If convicted, Baldwin could be sentenced to four years in prison. But due to the fact he's a celebrity he probably will get off “Scott Free”.
