Johnny Gat runs amok in Hell in this developer diary for Saints Row 4: Gat Out of Hell.

We're given a tour of New Hades thanks to Jim Boone, who shows us the ins and outs of Johnny Gat's new powers and some of the weapons he can use to destroy the denizens of the underworld.

One of the first weapons we're introduced to is the Exodus 10, a sub-machine gun weapon that fires a plague of locusts. That's how you kick it Old Testament style, folks. Then we get to see what is possibly one of the coolest weapons in all of creation: the Armchair-A-Geddon. This La-Z-Boy recliner lets Gat sit back and fire off gatling guns that pop out of the armrests while floating around. If he chooses to kick his feet up and recline, rockets start zooming out and causing mayhem in his path. Yeah, we could see ourselves falling asleep to 'Dancing with the Stars' in this thing.

We're also given a look at some of his new powers, like super speed and the ability to fly using his demonic wings. Gat can partake in time trials across the city that have him flying from checkpoint to checkpoint, all the while collecting white orbs for boosts and green orbs for stamina.

But perhaps one of the most interesting of Gat's new abilities is the power to summon imps that run around and even explode on command. It's cool to see Gat use a warhammer to smite enemies with lightning while his imps cause a ruckus and attack nearby demons.

Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell is looking like some mighty fun and we can't wait to get our hands on it for PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
