For a few thousand bucks this engineering feat could be yours... Although at one glance I can think of quite a few ways as to why this appears to be a really BAD idea, especially if you're planning on using this as a bed for your kids! Can you spell L-a-w-s-u-i-t??

Anyway, looks really cool and I'm sure it'd be really fun if I could afford it's over $4,000 price tag for a King size on my deejay paycheck!

Mood Rocking Bed by Joe Manus for shinerinternational. Bed is indoor and outdoor. It can be left to rock or freeze it in any position with rubber stops. This is the ultimate bed for everything you do in bed. Dream your dreams, love your lover and rest your soul in the Mood Rocking Bed.

Furthermore:

Neuroscientists and sleep specialists found that rocking motion induces and maintains deeper, more soothing sleep.

Um, didn't need an expert to tell me that, rockin my babies to sleep when they were little is proof enough, but still we don't think to apply that to our boring lame non-moving beds once we're adults. Kinda cool taht it's outdoor too and if you're still worried about that rocking motion, one customer says it's very subtle although knowing me I'd jump on it like it was a piece of playground equipment and roll it down a hill or something! Oh, and it does come with rubber stops if you'd prefer a more conventional approach, but if that's what you're after, save the $4k and grab something that sits still for much less. Still, a pretty nifty idea if you ask me, I'd love to try one if they had one at Carl's Furrniture City or someplace. Till then, I guess I'm left with my $50 mattress that I swear punches me in my sleep considering how my back feels in the morning!
