Rochester Man With Brain Cancer Has One Last Wish – Fire Department Patches
21 year-old Jonathan Davis dreamed of being a firefighter. It's what his family has been doing for four generations. But now Davis is fighting for his life. He's been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor and has one last request. He wants a patch from every fire department in New York state. That's a total of 2,208 patches.
Lt Gov Robert Duffy heard Davis' request and took to Twitter to help.
Attn; Twitter followers who are Firefighters/connected with Fire Departments in NYS- I have a request from a young man in hospice.

I am not sure how many days that Jonathan Davis has left,
so time is of the utmost importance to bring some joy into his life.
Thank you!

'It's's a lofty goal and I'm sure he will get there,' said Asst. Chief John Nolan of the Barnard Fire Department tells WROC TV.
Barnard is where Davis' family has worked for years. He received an honorary membership to the department last week.
Lets help make Davis' wish come true. Share with your local fire departments.
Patches can be sent to Jonathan at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.
