You’ve likely seen the ubiquitous Redbox movie and game-rental kiosks all over the place. And if you haven’t yet tried them out, here’s a good reason to do so: the company is enticing you with a pair of freebies.

Redbox has extended its Game Week promotion offering a free video game rental through Thursday, March 8. If you’re a gamer, this means you’ll get your first day’s video game rental — a $2 value — for free if you reserve and pay for it in advance online or via Redbox’s iPhone or Android apps.

And to celebrate the recent milestone of renting of its two billionth DVD, the company is also marking March 8 with a “Free Movie Night.” Punch in the promo code “THANKS2U” in a Redbox kiosk that Thursday and you’ll get a free one-night movie rental, which normally costs $1.20 plus tax.

You shouldn’t have any trouble finding a Redbox kiosk — these days, there are about 30,000 scattered across the US. For more details on the freebie promotions, check out the company’s Facebook page.
