R2D2 And The 501st Legion Appearing At Uticacon 2014

Every year local comic book collectors, science fiction enthusiasts and cosplayers get together for Uticacon at MVCC's Jorgensen Center to benefit the Relay for Life, but tomorrow, October 5th there's something special planned for Star Wars fans!

Although there will be nearly 20 nationally known comic book illustrators and writers present to chat with and collect signatures from, there are a couple of guests that will likely attract plenty of gawking all on their own. How about a meet and greet with R2D2 and a few costume-clad baddies from our local chapter of the 501st Legion?

That and more is planned between 10am and 4pm tomorrow, so swing on by. Tickets are just a fiver for adults, $3 for teens and kids under 12 get to hang out for free! Don't forget that your admission dollars go straight to the American Cancer Society.
