Last night, an unmanned NASA Antares rocket that was on a resupply mission to the ISS self-destructed spectacularly shortly after takeoff. You've seen all of the closeup vids, but pilot Ed Sealing captured a unique view of the explosion from his Cessna Cardinal at 3,000 feet before he even knew what he was looking at. This little mishap cost NASA over $200 mil in supplies including a satellite, but nothing that can't be replaced they say. The astronauts onboard the space station are good until March which should be enough time to regroup and mount another mission.
