Fab Melo's rebound-dunk was the difference in a 71-69 road  over Connecticut as Syracuse again found a way to win.

The second-ranked Orange led by as many as 17 points in the second half, 46-29, before the Huskies stormed back to tie the game at 69-69 with under a minute to play.

On the ensuing possession, Melo cleaned up C.J Fair's missed jumper giving the seven-foot center 11 points and nine boards on the night. Kris Joseph led Syracuse (29-1, 16-1 Big East) with 21 points and seven rebounds. Dion Waiters added 10 points.

UConn's Jeremy Lamb led the Huskies scoring attack with 19.
