Zach Hodskins is the most unlikely hoops prodigy there is.

Hodskins, a one-armed basketball player from Alpharetta, Georgia has been offered a preferred walk-on spot by the University of Florida. That means Hodskins, who was born without any arm under his left elbow, would have a place on the roster, although he would not receive a scholarship.

Still, getting a chance with a powerhouse like Florida is a testament to his skill.

In fact, the six-foot-four Hodskins is a rising prep star. One scout who saw him at a recent summer camp said he had the most talent of anyone who played. The University of Alabama-Birmingham and Birmingham Southern have both been mulling with extending scholarships to him, as well.
