If you were holding out hope that Journey would reunite and tour with former lead singer Steve Perry, stop believin'. It will not happen. Fans of the iconic rock band were hoping that a new wave of popularity for the song, "Don't Stop Believin'" would lead to a reunion with frontman Steve Perry and a tour. Perry says it's not going to happen:

"It's like any emotional, committed relationship," he said to the Associated Press. "At some point, they seem to all have a shelf life and bands are no exception.

"Life has moved us all on in different places in our lives. They're doing what they're doing - they have been since '98. And I've been doing what I'm doing, which is living my life and having a personal life." - CBSNews.com

While there may be new music for Perry and Journey, there is new music in the immediate future for the band's former lead singer. Perry is preparing to record a new project very soon.
