With Darrelle Revis out for the year with a torn ACL, the Jets need to regroup their defense, and they need to regroup fast. This weekend’s game against the 49ers will be a tough win.San Francisco had its pride hurt big time losing to the Vikings. What can we expect for the New York Jets going into Week 4? Here’s our game preview.

From Tim Tebow's use in the red zone to Mark Sanchez' terrible decision making, this group is tough to watch. I'm not sure exactly what the Jets were keeping under wraps all summer when they wouldn't show their Wildcat offense, but the slow unveiling has been a complete anticlimax.”

There's 2 things we need to work on for this weekend: 1) Mark Sanchez, and 2) Defense. Sanchez needs to be better at making decisions in the game. He hasn't impressed this writer yet. Also, with Revis out, we really need to step up in our Defense. Rex Ryan needs to prove to us that his team isn’t a one trick pony and that we can still win games without Revis. Our defense needs to step up. Plain, and simple. Hopefully we don’t get any bad calls like the Packers did on Monday.

Speaking of Monday’s game, The NFL is supporting their replacement refs and their decision from Monday night. In a statement the league said,

“The NFL Officiating Department reviewed the video today (Tuesday) and supports the decision not to overturn the on-field ruling following the instant replay review.”

However, they did say that Seattle receiver Golden Tate should have been called for offensive pass interference for shoving aGreen Baydefender in the back and knocking him to the ground. That call would have ended the game with a Packers' victory.

The end of the game didn't sit well with Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who took to the airwaves of a ESPN’sMilwaukeeradio station, saying, “First of all, I’ve got to do something that the NFL is not going to do: I have to apologize to the fans.”
