A segment of U.S Highway 67 in Texaracana, Arkansas, has a new name. One that even I should be able to remember, "Rock 'N' Roll Highway". The legendary highway was the main route, for the roots of rock 'n roll:

Rock `n' Roll pioneers including Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash and Roy Orbison took U.S. 67 when on the Louisiana Hayride circuit, coming from Memphis, Tenn., and heading to Louisiana or Texas. - Todaysthv.com

The highway finally received it's new name and designation after two years of political debate. Local leaders unveiled the new sign Thursday. I can hear all the GPS units in America saying, "recalculating".
