National Fireworks Displays – Times And Where To Watch
The Fourth Of July is the time of year that most of the major cities put up a whole lot of cash to put on a great fireworks display. If you are going to be traveling over the fourth here is where you will find some of the best displays. You can also tune in to your local stations at the right time to catch some of these amazing displays.
New York City
Macy’s will explode more than 40,000 fireworks choreographed to a 25 minute patriotic scene. Grab a nice seat along the Hudson to watch. Starts at 9 pm.
You can enjoy the annual Boston Pops Spectacular at The Hatch Shell starting at 7:30pm, with the fireworks starting at 9:30 pm.
Check out a great display on The National Mall in Washington. These fireworks are big and loud, you may consider bringing ear plugs. They will begin at 9:10 pm.
There isn’t anything quite like the Fourth of July, especially in Chicago. Last year’s Fireworks were spectacular, and this year’s will be no different. Locals and tourists alike will unite for the holiday to enjoy the fireworks again for 2013. This year’s event will be held at picturesque Navy Pier, overlooking the beautiful Lake Michigan. The captivating fireworks at the Pier will be visible from anywhere along the shoreline and will begin at approximately 9 p.m.
