4A Games shows just how different Metro Redux is going to be when compared to the original versions of Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light.

Metro Redux packages together the remastered versions of Metro 2033 and Last Light. Based on this newest video showcasing its differences to their original counterparts, Metro Redux will properly bring the Russian Fallout experience over to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. We should note that the PS4 version will run at 1080p while the Xbox One version will be at 900p.

This video showcases the huge graphics changes made to post-apocalyptic Moscow. Areas are now brighter, sunlight was added and the game actually feels like you're outdoors. Gone are the cloudy, atmospheric overcasts of Moscow when you were above ground. Instead, sunlight permeates through the smoky air of a nuclear wasteland. There are also new game modes to boot, making your experience even more tougher and realistic than before.

Metro Redux launches on Aug. 26 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC for $49.99. You can also buy the remastered versions of Metro 2033 and Last Light separately on the digital market for $24.99 each starting on the 26th as well.
