Meet Rick Dale From History’s American Restoration
Meet Rick Dale from History’s “American Restoration”. On “American Restoration” everything old becomes new again at Rick’s Restorations. Here’s a little more about the man behind it all, Rick Dale.
“American Restoration” features Rick and his crew at Rick’s Restorations in Las Vegas, Nevada. Rick and his team take rusty, beat-up items and restore them to their original glory. Restorations aren’t always easy. Every project presents unique challenges for Rick and his team, but somehow each time they are able to turn piles of junk into something amazing and beautiful. Rick is an expert restorer of classic objects and artifacts and has over nearly 30 years of experience. Some people claim that these shows on History are fake, but Rick’s Restorations knocks all those non-believers out of the ballpark.
In the episode scheduled to air May 28th, Rick has a restoration project from the Piano Man himself, Billy Joel. In an interview with Rick, we discover a little bit more about the man behind the show:

I know you’ve probably been asked this ten thousand times, what’s one of the most unique projects you’ve ever worked on, or a favorite project?
The F-105 model of the airplane for the Air Force. Giving back to the air force was his favorite part.
In the new episode set to air tonight on History, what project and challenge did Billy Joel present you with?
Rick restores an old British bike (a 1967 BSA A50 Royal Star) that is the exact model of Joel’s first motorcycle. Joel describes it as the bike that “started it all for me.”
What show on History other than your own show is a favorite to watch?
Rick is a big fan of Pickers, Pawn Stars, and Duck Dynasty.
Do you have a place online where fans can buy some of the products you restore?
