Halo: The Master Chief Collection has been having some... issues lately and those issues just keep coming. Unfortunately, the patch planned for Wednesday of this week will not arrive on time.

The main issue being covered in Halo's post in its support forums is the upcoming update that was supposed to happen on Nov. 19--this Wednesday. In order for additional fixes and the completion of testing and certification to be implemented, Halo is pushing the update to an unspecified date later this week.

The update, when it finally does come out, will cover a variety of issues including the long awaited matchmaking performance issues. The Halo team is specifically looking at issues in Halo: CE and Halo 2: Anniversary. Also in this update will be general UI and game stability improvements.

The team at Halo ended the announcement thanking the players for their patience, but the question that's weighing on my mind is, when will we stop having to be patient? Maybe we'll find out later this week with the new patch.
