Should any New York Jets fan truly be surprised by the outcome of last nights game? I love how a lot of sportscasters were proud of how the Jets played, well I'm not. Maybe I'm being a jerk but it's seriously time to get ride of Mark Sanchez.

Sanchez was able to lead New York to score on all three of its possessions in the fourth to put them on top late in regulation. He completed 28-of-41 passes for a season-high 328 yards while throwing for a touchdown and an interception in the setback. Dustin Keller scored his first touchdown of the season and caught seven passes for 93 yards for New York. Jeremy Kerley led all receivers with 120 yards on seven receptions.

"It really stings because we played hard throughout the whole game," said Sanchez. "I was really proud of the way our defense kept us in it."

So it looked like a great game for The Jets until Overtime.

The New York Jets' final failure came when Rob Ninkovich knocked the ball out of Mark Sanchez's hand in overtime and recovered the fumble, ending a 29-26 win Sunday that gave the Patriots sole possession of first place in the AFC East.”

Lets talk Mark Sanchez for a moment. Everyone keeps defending his game play, but lets seriously look at it. Over his entire career he's only thrown 64 touchdowns, 58 interceptions, and over 21 fumbles. Keep in mind Sanchez has only been with the Jets for 4 years, and he's only thrown 64 TD's. Let's take a look at Tom Brady for example has thrown over 312 TD''s, 118 interceptions, and only 58 fumbles. Now the interceptions and fumbles may be high but Brady has been playing over 12 years. Compared to Sanchez, Brady has played much longer and better.

So why are we continuing to crush our hopes and dreams with Mark Sanchez? What's the point?

Here's what a few fans on FB thought last night:
