Man Files Lawsuit Against Mousey Mountain Dew

I drink Mountain Dew just as much as the next guy. On our staff I think Bob Cain drinks the most. Around our office, every corner he has a new bottle in his hands. God bless you morning people! However, in my many years of drinking soda I’ve never had this happen.

A man filed a lawsuit after he claims he found a dead mouse inside a can of Mountain Dew. Pepsi sent him a reply insisting he’s lying. Their logic: because the carbonated drink would have dissolved the critter’s corpse right after canning. Kind of gross, but nonetheless a valid point.

Ronald Ball says he got “violently ill” after just a few sips so he poured out the remainder discovering the mouse in its watery home. Pepsi agreed to examine the dead animal, but when Ball called to check on the progress, he was told its remains had been “destroyed”, leading him to sue.

Pepsi has moved to dismiss the suit, saying that the corrosive soda would have turned the creature into “mouse jelly” or dissolved it altogether within days, so it couldn’t have sickened Ball. Pretty gross right?

Fun Mountain Dew Fact: The freezing point of Mountain Dew is -30 degrees Fahrenheit.
