Did you ever want to learn how to write your own comics? If you think comics are dead think again. Look at AMC’s “The Walking Dead”. That TV show was based off a graphic novel. So if you’re looking to learn how to write them, The Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute can help.

WIBX is reporting on Friday, April 6th, from 2 to 5 p.m., cartoonist and LitGraphic artist, Matt Madden, will lead a comic workshop for teens and adults.

Those attending will get the opportunity to make their own five page folded mini-comic, while learning from an established artist and teacher. Space for the workshop is limited, so early registration is suggested. The cost to attend is $15 for members or $25 for general admission. To purchase tickets, visit www.mwpai.org or call 315-797-0055.”

Do you still read comics? If so, what is your favorite to read?
