Leafblowers As Weapons? Who Knew?

Next time you're in Memphis, remember that your leaf blower is a weapon! Memphis Judge Dan Brown has ruled that 33-year-old Michael Bridgewater can be charged with assault for pointing a leaf blower at a woman. The alleged victim, Kelly Carraway, said she complained about grass clippings hitting her car. At that point, Bridgewater pointed the leaf blower at her in what was described as "an offensive and provocative manner." As a result Carraway said she was assaulted with flying debris and suffered from respiratory problems afterward.
