Lawrence Tynes missed a pair of 54-yard field goal attempts with 15 second left as Eli Manning and the Giants came up just short of another fourth quarter come-back win as the Eagles topped Big Blue 19-17 on Sunday night.

Tynes yanked his first attempt left, but Andy Reid had called timeout just before the snap. Tynes’ second attempt was down the middle, but about two yards short of a would be game winning drive.

Michael Vick threw for 241 yards and a touchdown, orchestrating his own come from behind, field-goal drive late in the fourth after Manning took the Giants down the field for a go-ahead touchdown the possession prior.

But after New York crossed mid-field and benefited from a touchy defensive pass interference call on third and 10, Ramses Barden was flagged for offensive pass interference, pushing the Giants back and leaving Tynes the long attempt. (Tynes career long is 53)

Manning threw for 309 yards and two touchdowns, but was also picked off in the end zone early in the fourth, costing New York an important opportunity to put points on the board.

Victor Cruz had nine catches for 109 yards and a touchdown.

Ahmad Bradshaw (neck) returned to action with 15 carries for 39 yards, and three catches for 38 yards.

DeSean Jackson lead Philadelphia’s receiving core with six catches for 99 yards and a touchdown, while LeSean McCoy rushed for 123 yards on 23 carries.
