You don't need aspirin, you don't need any other pills, all you need is laughter. According to a new study, laughing doesn't just make you feel better, it combats pain.

British researchers found that laughter raises the levels of endorphins in the body, but it has to be real laughter. Smiles and chuckles just won't cut it.

"We think the effect only comes from full-blown hearty laughter," explained study author Robin Dunbar. "This involves a series of sharp exhalations with no in-drawing of breath."
